LHP Jorge De La Rosa, who suffered a torn flexor tendon band
in his left middle finger, has what is being described as a
pulley injury, like a rock climber might suffer. He won't pick
up a baseball for a week. The Rockies are still hoping he can
be back in 4-6 weeks, although there is little history in baseball
with this sort of injury. De La Rosa's last start was April 25.
