3B Casey Blake was not in the starting lineup for the fourth consecutive game
because of back spasms. He is being replaced at third base by INF Jamey
Carroll, who has batted .400 (10-for-25) over his last six games. Blake was
batting .355 (22-for-62) with four home runs and eight RBO over 16 games
before he was injured.
