[傷兵] Pedroia likely out for 6 weeks

Dustin Pedroia (broken foot) is scheduled to be re-examined Monday
by Boston-based foot specialist Dr. George Theodore.

Sean McAdam of CSN New England heard from a source Sunday that Pedroia
is likely to miss six weeks, which sounds about right given his
diagnosis. The second baseman was placed on the disabled list Saturday
just before the Red Sox acquired utilityman Eric Patterson from the
A's. Patterson is expected to see a decent amount of time at second
base while the scrappy Pedroia is sidelined.
