Brian Roberts (back) has begun light baseball activities.
"What that means, there's no description to it, but he just added very
light [baseball activities]," interim manager Juan Samuel said Saturday.
"That's what my report says." Roberts has been on the 60-day disabled
list since April 10 and isn't expected to return until late July or early
August.
