CF Franklin Gutierrez (irritable bowel syndrome) will be activated from the
disabled list before Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Until he is at full speed, he will play four to five games a week, with
Michael Saunders getting most of the remaining starts in center field. In 11
rehab games with Class AAA Tacoma, Gutierrez hit .275 (11-for-40) with a .362
on-base percentage.
