Brett Lawrie (wrist) was placed on the 7-day minor league disabled list,
retroactive to June 1, with a bruised left wrist.
Since the move was made retroactively, he'll be required only to sit out two
more days before being eligible for activation on Wednesday. It's not clear
if he'll be ready at that point or not, however. Lawrie is poised to be
called up by the Blue Jays, and the wrist injury has likely delayed the move.
