Phillies right-hander Roy Oswalt has a mild bulging disc in his back and
likely won’t return until August.
Team doctor Michael Ciccotti says Oswalt will get a second opinion from a
specialist in Dallas and then receive a treatment plan.
Oswalt says doctors told him eventually he’ll need back surgery,but he
hopes that will come later in life.
