3B David Freese and IF Nick Punto were activated from the 15-day disabled list
Monday. Freese will return to the Cardinals' starting lineup on Tuesday night
against the Orioles after missing close to two months with a fractured left
hand. The 28-year-old was batting .356 with two homers and 14 RBI in 25 games
when he was hit by a Scott Linebrink pitch on May 1. He went 3-for-13 in a
four-game rehab stint at Triple-A Memphis.
