Indians placed RHP Chris Perez on the bereavement list.
Perez's grandmother recently passed away. He's allowed a maximum of seven
days but is expected to rejoin the team on Sunday. The Indians will likely go
with a committee approach to replace him, with Tony Sipp, Rafael Perez and
Vinnie Pestano all representing possibilities for the ninth inning. Josh Judy
has been called up from Triple-A Columbus to take Perez's spot on the roster.
