Ivan Nova was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre,

virtually assuring RHP Phil Hughes of a spot in the rotation next week.

Nova posted an 8-4 record with a 4.12 ERA in 16 starts for the Yankees

this season, including a 3.35 ERA in six June starts, but he was selected as

the odd man out in favor of Hughes. Nova will return to his starting job in

Scranton and will be called on again if needed by the big league club.

還有Tommy Hunter從傷兵回來  有機會回到先發嗎?
