Doumit struck out as a pinch-hitter for the last out of Wednesday's game
against the Cubs, his first game back from the DL. He'd been out since the end
of May with an ankle sprain.
Recommendation: He was brought in to face Carlos Marmol in his first at-bat off
the DL, which is a mighty tough task, so you can't blame him for being a bit
overmatched. Michael McKenry has been doing solid work in his absence, but
Doumit should take over behind the plate again soon -- at least until his next
injury.
