The Blue Jays promoted 21-year-old pitcher Henderson Alvarez from their
AA-New Hampshire affiliate on Tuesday.
The slender, hard-throwing right-hander from Carabodo, Venezuela, will make
his major league debut on Wednesday night against the Oakland A's at the
Rogers Centre.
