According to ESPN's Buster Olney, Miguel Cabrera (eye) fully
expects to be ready for Opening Day.
Cabrera has been shut down for a week due to a small fracture under
his right eye that he suffered Monday while playing third base
in a Grapefruit League game. The 28-year-old slugger seems confident
that he will be able to resume all baseball-related activities once
that week of rest is up. He remains a sure-fire Top 5 fantasy pick.
