An MRI on Berkman's left calf confirmed a slight (Grade 1)
strain, but the injury is not going to be taken lightly,
the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports.
Recommendation: Thursday's reports called it a minor tear,
but this sounds slightly less serious.
That said, Berkman went on the DL in 2009 with a similar injury,
and he was sure he headed that way this time around.
With an off day scheduled for Monday,
the Cardinals hope Berkman will be ready by Tuesday,
but if not, the DL is still a possibility.
