Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro guesses that Vance Worley (elbow) will
miss 2-3 starts but admits that he has "no idea how long it's going to take.
"
Worley was diagnosed with inflammation in his elbow, which is the best news
he could have received. Still, when the elbow is involved, there's always
some uncertainty. "Generally, it’s pretty good news when you don’t have
structural damage," Amaro said. "We think it’s ... mild, but we have no idea
how long its going to take. We’ll just see after he’s re-evaluated after a
week of getting shut down whether he can start throwing and then we’ll know
how he feels after that, and we’ll know how long it will take to get him back
