Lance Berkman has been diagnosed with a right knee injury.
The Cardinals aren't sure how serious the issue is and will evaluate Berkman
over the next 24 hours before settling on a diagnosis. The veteran first
baseman had to be helped off the field after stretching for a throw from
shortstop Rafael Furcal on Saturday night at Dodger Stadium. "Big Puma" is
highly likely to require a stint on the disabled list.
連續傷了Jay/Craig/白肥...

The Cardinals pulled first base prospect Matt Adams from a game at Triple-A
Memphis Saturday night.
Adams is likely to be promoted to the major leagues if Lance Berkman (knee)
needs a stint on the disabled list. The 23-year-old is batting .338/.373/.597
with nine homers and 27 RBI through 36 games this season at the Triple-A
level. He launched 32 homers last year at Double-A. Scoop him up in deeper
mixed fantasy leagues.

Adams has been considered the Cardinals' first baseman of the
future, but for the notion that Allen Craig will need to play first base to
avoid injury in the field. He and Matt Carpenter could share time at first
base if Berkman needs to go on the DL.
另外小木匠也可偶爾守一下RF
