Cueto lifted because of pain in right triceps



The Reds are saying Johnny Cueto left Saturday's start because of "pain in
his right triceps."
Cueto will get a more exact diagnosis when he is evaluated on Sunday. The
right-hander grimaced after a fifth-inning pitch Saturday night against the
Pirates and then left with a trainer. It's obviously troublesome news for the
Reds, who have lofty expectations this season.




Cingrani could replace injured Johnny Cueto



John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer suspects that Tony Cingrani might take
Johnny Cueto's rotation spot.
Cueto suffered a triceps injury during his start Saturday night against the
Pirates and will probably be out for a little while. Cingrani, 23, owns a
sparkling 1.63 ERA and 11.7 K/9 in 209 2/3 career minor league innings. He'd
carry good fantasy value for however long he's up.
