Dodgers placed RHP Chad Billingsley on the 15-day disabled list with right
elbow pain.
The move is retroactive to his last start on April 16, but that probably
won't end up mattering. Billingsley has experienced issues with the elbow in
the past, and at one point was recommended Tommy John surgery. He might have
to consider going under the knife. Stephen Fife was recalled to start Sunday
against the Orioles.
