Nationals manager Davey Johnson said that Bryce Harper will have his left
knee examined by Dr. James Andrews on Monday.
Advice: The decision was made after Harper felt soreness while running the
pool Thursday. The Nationals are confident that he's only dealing with
bursitis, but it's possible that he could need surgery to remove the bursa
sac, which would likely sideline him for several weeks. Either way, he will
not be ready to come off the disabled list when he's first eligible on
Tuesday.
