Brandon Beachy

Brandon Beachy (elbow) will throw a bullpen session before the end of the

Braves' road trip that ends Wednesday.

Advice: Beachy was shut down for over a week after feeling some soreness

in his surgically-repaired right elbow. He'll throw at least a couple

bullpen sessions before resuming a rehab assignment.

The right-hander won't rejoin the Braves until after the All-Star break.

A.J. Burnett

A.J. Burnett (calf) threw some pitches on flat ground prior to Thursday's

game.

Advice: Burnett had been limited to strengthening exercises for his calf,

so it's a nice step. It's not clear how close the right-hander might be to

returning to a mound, though. He's dealing with a Grade 1 tear in his right

calf.

Aaron Hill

Aaron Hill (hand) will be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday.

Advice: Hill is batting .375/.385/.500 through six rehab games with Triple-A

Reno. The second baseman has been sidelined since early April with a

fractured hand that healed slower than expected.

Carl Crawford

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Thursday that Carl Crawford (hamstring)

is not close to a rehab assignment.

Advice: Crawford will shift his workouts from Arizona to Los Angeles when

the club returns early next week. Mattingly noted that Crawford is behind

Matt Kemp, though, and the earliest Kemp could possibly return is next

weekend. Obviously we're not going to see him until sometime next month.

反倒是Kemp 也許這週末有機會 ?!


Pablo Sandoval

Pablo Sandoval's (foot) rehab assignment with High-A San Jose has been

moved up from Saturday to Friday.

Advice: Sandoval went through a rigorous workout on Thursday and came out

of it well, so he'll get in an extra game with San Jose. He'll be the DH

for them on Friday before playing third base on Saturday.

Unless he has a setback, he'll be activated from the DL Monday.

Clay Buchholz

Clay Buchholz (trapezius) will not return Tuesday.

Advice: Buchholz is still being bothered by discomfort in his neck and

shoulder and was unable to throw a scheduled bullpen session on Saturday.

The 28-year-old right-hander could need another two weeks of rest and rehab.

He hasn't pitched in a major league game since June 8.

還要在兩週 ... 八扣子有點痛 ...


Asdrubal Cabrera

Asdrubal Cabrera (quad) took grounders and hit on the field Friday.

Advice: It was his first time doing both activities since he was placed on

the disabled list earlier this month with a right quad strain.

He's slated to travel with the team to Baltimore next week and could be

activated for the weekend series against the White Sox.
