Ryan Howard
The Phillies haven't ruled out knee surgery for Ryan Howard.
Advice: Howard was placed on the disabled list on Saturday with left knee
inflammation. He will have an MRI on Sunday or Monday, after which more
should be known. Phillies GM Ruben Amaro said the team will be
"conservative" with their handling of their first baseman, so even if Howard
avoids a knee procedure he could end up missing more than just 15 days.
Surgery would almost certainly end Howard's season.

Curtis Granderson
Yankees transferred OF Curtis Granderson from the 15-day disabled list to
the 60-day disabled list.
Advice: The move clears a spot for Michael Pineda on the 40-man roster.
Granderson has been sidelined since May 25 and remains without a
timetable to return.
從15天DL→放到60天 目的是讓Pineda進40人名單 ~ 缺SP的可以抓抓看
Michael Pineda
Yankees activated RHP Michael Pineda from the 60-day disabled list;
optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Advice: Pineda is no longer on his rehab assignment, so the Yankees will
let him continue his recovery from shoulder surgery in the minors.
He has a 2.82 ERA over five Triple-A starts and will be an option for the
major league rotation at some point during the second half.
在3A投的還OK 防禦率2.82 (但聽說上一場爆炸 ?! 所以要再觀察幾場 ?!)
下半季隨時有可能進輪值 ~
