Giants placed RHP Matt Cain on the 15-day disabled list with a right forearm
contusion.
Advice: Cain will miss at least two weeks after being hit by a line drive
Thursday. It's not yet clear who will replace him in the starting rotation.
The Giants recalled Yusmeiro Petit to take Cain's spot on the 25-man roster.
