Jean Segura (hamstring) is not in the Brewers' starting lineup on Thursday

versus the Cubs.

Advice: Segura suffered a strained right hamstring on Wednesday night and

might not play in another game this season. The 23-year-old shortstop is

batting .296/.331/.426 with 12 homers and 44 stolen bases.

Matt Adams (elbow) could pinch-hit on Thursday.

Advice: Adams left Wednesday night's game with right elbow discomfort and

is not in the Cardinals' starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series

finale with the Rockies. But he's feeling better and should be able to play

through the pain down the stretch. It's good news for the Cards, who are

still missing starting first baseman Allen Craig.
