Johnson to miss a month with strained flexor
Josh Johnson will miss a month to five weeks with a strained flexor muscle in
his right forearm.
It's a huge blow to the Padres, who were counting on Johnson as a productive
member of the starting rotation. Johnson had surgery in October to remove
bone spurs from his right elbow, so it's unclear if this injury is related to
his previous issues. Robbie Erlin may step into Johnson's rotation spot to
start the year.
