Yankees placed INF Mark Teixeira on the 15-day disabled list with a strained
right hamstring.
Teixeira sustained the injury chasing down a foul ball during the second
inning of Friday's win over the Blue Jays. He'll head for an MRI on Monday to
determine the severity of the injury. Kelly Johnson and Francisco Cervelli
are expected to share time at first base in his absence.
