Barca To Swap Quaresma For Deco

Barcelona and FC Porto are reportedly just hours away from completing
a deal that would see Deco join Barcelona and Ricardo Quaresma join
Porto on loan.
Barcelona are going to pay FC Porto 10 million euros for Deco and have
also agreed to continue to pay Ricardo Quaresma’s wages while he is on
loan at the European Champions.
The only thing that is preventing the deal from becoming official is
that Deco is currently playing for Portugal at Euro 2004, and this has
slowed down negotiations.
It appears that everything is settled between the two clubs as well
as Ricardo Quaresma, all that’s left is for Barcelona to close out
the deal by agreeing to contract terms with Deco.
Deco has publicly admitted that he would like to play for Barcelona,
so it looks as if the deal will go through.
