Carles Puyol: "We will always be grateful to you"

Barca captain Carles Puyol has given thanks, in a public letter,
for "the show of affection and respect" that he has received in
the days following his father's death last Friday.

Below is an extract from Puyol's letter:

"In the worst moment of my life, the show of affection and respect
that my family and I have received has helped us to fill the gap
that such an irreparable loss has left us. Thank you to everyone
for making us feel that there are things in life that make it easier
to carry on.

"I will never forget all the support that I have received in recent
days and will always be grateful to you all.

"On behalf of the Puyol Saforcada family, I would like to say a big
thank you to everyone."
