Belletti and Zambrotta out of Betis game
Juliano Belletti and Gianluca Zambrotta have both been left out of the FC
Barcelona squad for the game against Real Betis in midweek and Sylvinho and
Santi Ezquerro have been included.
Frank Rijkaard named his squad for the final match of the opening half of the
season following a behind closed doors training session on Tuesday. Zambrotta
had returned to the squad for the game against Nastic on Sunday having
missed several league outings, while Belletti has been sidelined through
injury.
Ten days out
According to the club's medical team, Belletti has "contusion in the lateral
internal ligament of his left knee". The Brazilian full-back suffered the
blow during a small-sided game in training on Monday. It is believed that he
will require ten days to recover, during which time he will rest and take
anti-inflammatory drugs
