Ronaldinho was given the green light by club doctors this monday and will be
back in action after 28 days on the sidelines.
The Brazilian was given the all clear after the training match played this
afternoon at the Ciutat Espotiva with Barca B players. In recent weeks the
striker has been following a personalised plan to recovered from an injury to
his left knee.
Injury time
After the Christmas break Ronaldinho reported pain in his left leg and was
immediately put onto a personalised rehabilitation plan combining fitness and
skills work. The player has been working hard over the last week and his most
recent test and examination have been very positive
After the end of 2007
Ronaldinho's last match was the game against Real Madrid, the last fixture
before the Christmas holidays. Prior to getting injured he had played in 17
League and Champions League games and scored a total of seven goals.
28 days on the sidelines
Since he's been on the injury list the sriker has missed four League matches
against Mallorca, Murcia, Racing de Santander and Athletic de bilbao, and four
King's Cup games: the return match in last 32 against Alcoyano, the two legs of
the last 8 tie against sevilla and the first leg of the quarter final against
Villareal.
