Yuri Zhirkov has again revealed that a switch to Barcelona this summer would
be his preferred option.

The CSKA Moscow midfielder appears destined to be on the move in the coming
weeks, with a host of clubs tracking his availability.

Premier League giants Chelsea are known to have a strong interest, while
Barcelona are also reported to be keen.

Of the two Zhirkov admits he would rather head to Catalunya, as he has been a
staunch follower of Barca's exploits over the years.

"The Spanish league is followed closely in Russia and I've seen many games,
above all those of Barca, who have been my team for many years," the Russia
international told Sport.

Barcelona have already confirmed that they will soon be entering the market

appears inevitable, the 25-year-old admits he is yet to receive an approach
