Cesc Fabregas may have remained at Arsenal after yet another protracted
transfer pursuit, but thanks to the efforts of sporting director Andoni
Zubizarreta, Barcelona were still able to splash out in the region of €70
million in order to strengthen their pool as they once again looked to
challenge on three fronts.

舊在轉會市場上揮灑了將近七千萬歐元來加強球隊深度並追求另外一個三冠王的頭銜。
Coach Pep Guardiola has made no secret of his desire to maintain a compact,
closely-knit squad, and this was reflected in the fact that more players
vacated the Camp Nou than arrived over both the summer and winter windows. But
with a second Triplete within the space of three seasons well within reach, how
much of an impact has Barca's transfer activity had on the success of the team?

It was the logical transfer of the summer; Barca were in need of additional
firepower, and Villa had been Valencia's top scorer for five consecutive
seasons. The champions swooped to secure 'El Guaje' before the World Cup, and
despite the massive fee, his 17 league goals have proven invaluable. Operating
in a wide left role, he has adapted his game to accommodate the presence of
Lionel Messi, and alongside the Argentine and Pedro, he has helped to establish
one of the most feared front trios in world football.
David Villa A- (Valencia/€40m / Forward / 39A-21G)
夏天引進葫蘆娃是一個相當合理的選擇；巴薩急需額外的火力支援，而Villa則連續5個
球季佔據Valencia射手榜上鰲頭。聯賽冠軍搶在世界盃之前搶下了葫蘆娃，而儘管付出

Position: Midfielder
Appearances/Goals: 31/0
Initially deemed to be the perfect signing, his determination and bite in the
tackle were thought to provide Barca's back four with the additional shield
that would potentially make them invincible. It hasn't quite transpired as
such, with Guardiola often preferring Sergio Busquets in the holding role.
Invariably substituted in his early appearances, he has adjusted his game to
suit the team's passing philosophy, but while his performances have improved,
transfer speculation seems to suggest that a summer switch away from Catalunya
remains a possibility.
Javier Mascherano C (Liverpool/€20m / Midfielder / 31A-0G)
一開始這看起來是一個完美的轉會，他在鏟斷上面的決心跟犀利程度理當能夠替巴薩的後
防提升到牢不可破的程度。不過事與願違，因為瓜帥更偏好將騙人布擺在這個位置上。從
球季的開始，小馬就在替補上陣的時間盡可能的去適應球隊的傳球哲學，而即便他越來越
進入狀況，即將到來的夏轉名單上似乎還是會出現他的名字。

Position: Left-Back
Appearances/Goals: 23/1
Brought in from Sevilla due to his versatility, the Brazilian has been employed
primarily at left back to cover for Eric Abidal's shift into a central role. He
has often lost out to Maxwell in the battle for a starting berth, however, and
has never appeared entirely comfortable in his role in the colours of the
Blaugrana. Adriano has often been found wanting in possession, and his delivery
from wide areas has been less than inspiring. Guardiola may be in the market
for another left-back option in the summer if his performances fail to muster
any kind of consistency.
Adriano C- (Sevilla / €9.5m / Left-Back / A23-G1)
將巴西人買來是著眼在他位置的靈活度上，而原先的計畫是頂替Abidal改打中衛之後遺留
下來的左後衛空缺。但是在先發的競爭行列上他總是輸給Maxwell ，而似乎也一直無法適
應球隊所付與他的角色。 Adriano在場上過於黏球，而他在開放場地上的傳球也著無威脅
性。如果巴西人的表現持續低迷、瓜帥傾向在夏轉市場上尋找另外一個左後衛來取代他的
位置。

Position: Winger
Appearances/Goals: 14/1
Guardiola looked for value in the January transfer window, and seems to have
found it in the form of the promising Dutchman. The tactician sees the
24-year-old as an alternative to David Villa on the left of the front three,
but he has taken time to establish himself at the Camp Nou. Of his leagu
appearances, only one has been from the start, and in that match against
Sporting he was replaced at half-time after an ineffectual 45 minutes. The
former PSV man is likely to prove to be a useful squad player in the long term,
but los Cules have yet to see the best of the pacey attacker.
Ibrahim Afellay C- (PSV / €3m / Winger / A14-G1 )
瓜帥在一月的轉會市場上尋找潛力股，而他似乎在這個荷蘭小將上看到光明的前途。瓜
帥將這位24歲小將當作Villa 的替補人選，不過他還需要時間在諾坎普證明自己。在他
的聯賽比賽中只有一次先發，而在那場面對Sporting的比賽中，45分鐘毫無影響力的表
現使得他在半場就替換下去。這位前 PSV球員需要一段很長的時間來證明自己會是一個
很好的團隊成員，而巴薩球迷們還沒看到這位速度型前鋒最佳的表現。

Final Grade: C-
Andoni Zubizarreta took over the reins from the departed Txiki Begiristain,
with the deal for David Villa already finalised before the role became his. As
a result, the additions of Adriano, Afellay and Mascherano have enjoyed minimal
impact on the successes of the first team, with long-established figures such
as Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi carrying the team to victory. With
Barca looking to tighten their belts in the transfer market, activity in the
summer could well be restricted to finally securing the signature of Cesc
Fabregas.
Final Grade: C-
Zubizarreta在Begiristain離開之後接下了這個職位，而David Villa的轉會已在這之前
完成。由他經手完成的Adriano, Afelly, Mascherano轉會對球隊追求衛冕之路幾乎毫無
幫助，依舊是靠著老成員向Xavi, Iniesta和Messi 推動球隊前進。而巴塞轉會資金上的
縮減，在球隊可以成功簽下法布之前的動作將備受限制。
[最後依舊回馬槍的提到法布的轉會，我個人覺得Adriano真的表現很格格不入，而小馬
則覺得很可惜，對陣槍手沒有他的表現我們恐怕也過不了那關、Afelly真的就還在適應
當中吧，很多時候看他的動作都很僵硬，傳球路線也很好猜，不過很肯跑！]
