Tonight, we're digging deeper on the sobering new report showing just how
deadly swine flu could be when flu season kicked in full force.
A presidential advisor panel says the country may be --- and we stress, may
be --- heading for catastrophe.
Take a look at this. The swine flu, also known as the H1N1 virus, has
claimed at least 522 lives in the US so far. Nearly 8000 people have
been hospitalized, but some one million Americans have been infected
by the virus. That's accoding to CDC.
Now, here's what cloud possibly happen next. The advisor panel says up
to 90000 people, most children and adults could dead from the swine flu
this fall and winter. That's more than double the deaths in an average
flu season.
