Portugal choose Marienfeld as World Cup base
LISBON, Dec 9 (Reuters)
Portugal will base their training camp for the 2006 World Cup finals at
Marienfeld in western central Germany, the Portuguese soccer federation said.
Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari and federation president Gilberto Madail approved
the Klosterpforte hotel as the team's base. The two are in Germany for
Friday's World Cup draw.
