PIERCE OUT OF ALICE CUP
World number five Mary Pierce has pulled out of next week's Alice Cup event in
Rome.The former Rome champion has still not recovered from the foot injury
sustained in February.WTA number 75 Shuai Peng of China enters the main draw in
her place.The draw for the qualifying event takes place tonight, while the main
draw will be decided at midday on Saturday.
