今年longlist出來了
老面孔和新面孔,
已有兩次shortlist(number9dream, cloud altas)的David Mitchell
今年的新作black swan green再次入圍, 而非常受讀者喜愛的作家
Sarah Waters今年也以新作the night watch第二次入圍, 這本小說同時
入圍今年的orange prize決選
其他已得過布克獎的作家像Nadine Gordimer, Peter Carey(two-time winner),
Barry Unsworth又再次入圍

last night looked the strongest contenders for this year's ￡50,000
Man Booker prize.
