新西蘭匯市:新西蘭元美元跌至三周低位,因央行年內可能降息

新西蘭元/美元週四挫跌至三周低位,因該國央行為年底前降息打開大門.
新西蘭央行一如預期維持利率在8.25%不變,但在月度貨幣聲明中稱,經濟放緩將遏制通膨,使今年降息成為可能.
聲明公佈後,新西蘭元兌美元應聲挫跌0.5美分,隨後繼續下滑,最終收低逾1.7%.
"(聲明)對新西蘭元的影響就好像央行已經開始降息了一般."高盛JBWere分析師Shamubeel Eaqub說.
0500GMT,新西蘭元/美元報0.7653/63美元,週三本地市場尾盤報0.7799/01.
收益率方面的吸引力下降,亦令新西蘭元/澳元跌至六年半低點0.8013澳元.新西蘭元兌一籃子貨幣<=NZD>下挫將近1.6%.
央行利率決定公佈後的路透調查顯示,15位經濟分析師中有14位預期升息不晚於9月,受訪者普遍認為該國利率年底將達到7.5%.
"預期新西蘭元在未來一年將大幅走軟,兌美元下挫的風險最大,尤其是如果美元獲得一定支撐的話."Eaqub說.
