par contre, je trouve ke c plutot la loi, la chaine...
la liberte a pour nature de faire tout ce qui est permis par la loi

i kinda agree with imtired, if u want to says its ironique the sentence
however, i think it should verify how the author thought about law and liberty
as for the linkage, its not my preferred interpretation
