benchmark/criteria/refrence" (if not putting it in the Lacanian
sense as the fortunate loss of symbolic fathers) which runs the
risk of subjecting us to medically assisted procreations, to the
possible human being cloning, to the realization of virtual reality,
or to the expanding of same-sex marriage rights.
