Murphy hopes to return Dec. 16
There's been a Troy Murphy sighting. On Dec. 3, Murphy ran on a padded mat for
seven minutes, another step in his season-long treatment for a torn tendon in
his right foot. "Everything went well," Murphy told the Contra Costa Times
before the Warriors' Dec. 3 loss to the Nuggets. "It's sore, but not the type
of pain I had before -- like stepping on a nail. There's some pain but
nothing too bad." Murphy has not been able to practice since October. He hopes
to run at least 18 minutes this week, begin
practicing soon and return to the lineup against the Knicks in New York on Dec. 16.
