Henman to take on Seppi in Zagreb
Britain's Tim Henman will face Italian Andreas Seppi in the
quarter-finals of the Zagreb Indoor tournament.
Henman had been waiting to find out his next opponent since beating
second seed Richard Gasquet on Wednesday.
Seppi reached the last eight with a hard-earned 4-6 6-4 6-4 victory
over 17-year-old Croat Marin Cilic.
Top seed and crowd favourite Ivan Ljubicic is the only seed left
after Radek Stepanek, Mario Ancic, Jarkko Nieminen and Feliciano Lopez
all lost.
Ljubicic, who beat Denmark's Kenneth Carlsen 7-6 (7-5) 6-4, will face
Mikhail Youzhny after the Russian beat sixth seed Nieminen 2-6 7-6 (7-3)
7-6 (7-0).
Novak Djokovic of Serbia-Montenegro ousted fourth seed Stepanek of the
Czech Republic 6-3 6-4.
Ilia Bozoljac, also from Serbia-Montenegro, beat eighth seed Lopez of
Spain 7-6 (7-5) 6-2.
Ivo Karlovic of Croatia defeated his Davis Cup team-mate Ancic 7-6 (9-7)
7-6 (7-4) and now meets Austria's Stefan Koubek.
