新開課程：
環境分子生物技術 （3學分）
每週二567堂於環工102教室
課程概述
The course will cover two major areas: 1) the fundamental of molecular
biology; 2) the application of molecular biology to engineering. The details
are:
1. History of molecular biology and relevance to environmental engineering.
2. Introduction of molecular biology, cell structure, and genomic
information.
3. Microbial performance – protein formation
4. The correlation of gene sequence and microbial species.
5. Gene transfer, mutation, genetic recombination, and cloning.
6. Methods in microorganism observation and identification (FISH, DGGE-PCR,
RFLP, microarray)
7. Microbial community function
8. Quantitative and qualitative molecular biology
9. Applications in water and wastewater treatment
10. Applications in soil system
At the completion of this course, students will:
1) be able to understand the basic of molecular biology,
2) familiar with modern molecular approaches in environmental monitoring.
