Q20:

這題也是在A和E間爭辨很久
我是選E
一開始不選A的原因是覺得there were很囉嗦
倒是沒有注意到A中的was是指coal然後E中的were是supplies的問題

恩...
如果supplies of coal，supplies不能和coal黏在一起（不曉得大家懂我的意思嗎）
因為我想supplies就是修飾coal,所以were是不是可以整個修飾「supplies of coal」
如果不能黏在一起的話，那E就真的是錯的

畢竟A這邊 there are後面加上自然形成的N  (這邊放了substantial supplies of coal)
是沒問題的.....

→ sunnyE:as用於持續性時間或動作, when比較受限於某個時間點
→ sunnyE:1820's應該算是持續性的時間吧
推 Vinicks:可是E的supplies of coal後面接were的話 等於是變得
→ Vinicks:supplies of coal出口到外面 怎麼會有大量的煤礦供給出口
→ Vinicks:這樣的寫法 要寫的話也是大量的煤礦出口吧 煤礦的供給 怪~
→ Vinicks:簡單來說就是 供給不會出口吧 只有煤礦會出口~~~@@"
推 krisis:還是覺得e的可能性比較大~~有沒有更有力的答案說服我??:p
