: 以這題而言，我若要將原句還原成：

A選項同位語結構的錯誤，可以參考PP2修辭筆記中第122題的解釋
總之就是說在句意上，出題者認為使用的同位語，無法概括前句的句意，或同位語使用的
名詞錯誤（搞句意的題目，真的很麻煩....><）
然後，這題C改成分詞片語，其實ambiguity的情況並不嚴重
的確，如果原句是which protect，修飾itmes of military equipment
如果原句是and protected，主詞是前述的animal-hide shelds
看起來是有歧義，但animal-hide shelds，就是itmes of military equipment啊
(題目使用be動詞的句型，be動詞是=的意思）
所以這題不論你是想成關代改分詞，或是連接詞改分詞，都不影響原本句意的表達
因此可以做為正確的答案選項
