標題[計量] PP數學問題

1. if n= X * 10^2+Y * 10+Z where X Y Z are positive nonzero digits,
which of the following must be true?
(3) The difference beteween the greatest possible value of n and the least
possible value of n is 864.
答案有給(3)
為什麼? 若最大值為 9* 107* 18 - 最小值 1* 103* 12答案就大於864也
還是說最大最小值我想的就是錯的?
2. Because the decimal point was misplaced in the amount of a customer's bill
the customer was overcharged. which of the following could NOT have been the
amount of the overcharge?
(a)$0.70 (b)$0.90 (c)$1.80 (d)$9.90 (e)$90.00
麻煩會的人解答一下
