朗文當代英英有此用法。so作因為可當副詞用等於hence與therefore，並非兩個連結詞。
而你看到的說法是PP語法筆記自相矛盾在PP1#131將and so的選項因此而刪除。
實際上PP1#131and so的選項(D)之所以錯主要是因為不定詞表達更為簡潔，
且allow that (formal)
to accept that something is correct or true, or that something is acceptable
according to the rules or law.
<EX> I allow that there may have been a mistake.
因此是很正式的用語，依句意不適合用在此。
若要在so that上挑毛病的話，
該題後面未畫線部分依句意應該是要表目的（以致於可以）而非表單純的因果，
因此用so that會更精確。
and so
= and therefore
So is less formal than therefore, and is more common in everyday English.
