指代有分兩種
1.普通人稱代名詞[him, her, they...]
優先指代前面最接近它的，數量一致的名詞
2.關係代名詞
只能嚴格指代緊鄰於他之前的名詞
[就算跳躍指代也不能隔太遠]
這裡雖然前面只有一個複數 4 m. people，
但是c選項使得兩個獨立的句子沒有連接：
lao has a land area...... , many of them......
這是基本的句子結構型錯誤，所以才說是awkward。
並且兩句無連接也會使因果關係削弱，沒有清楚表達句意。
兩句看不出誰是主句誰是子句更是扭曲了a選項前為主後為子的句意重心
e選項則是用關代whom，
關代本身有
1.連接詞[銜接母句跟子句]
2.代名詞[代替主句中的先行詞放在子句中] 雙重功用
使兩句有了銜接，主句的仍然是主句、子句的仍然是子句
沒有出現句意重心掉換的問題。
