一步一步地看正式考試時，我們該如何做題目。

所以等等(1)看題目的時候，記得要找出矛盾雙方
(2)看選項的時候，記得要同時滿足矛盾雙方的結果喔！

讀題目：
93'之後的新車採用新規定，廢氣減排
題目的矛盾雙方為：
1.D國幾乎全境在93年之後廢氣顯著減少
2.D國的首都廢氣卻沒有顯著減少（尤其首都的新車又很多）
只要你能把這兩行列出來（事實上這也是要考gmat所必須具備的必要能力）
就明顯地發現：這個矛盾兩端的差異點在於"全體/個體"
也就是"首都"到底出了什麼問題？讓他跟D國其他地方比起來這麼與眾不同？
到這裡我們心裡已有了底：正確選項一定要指出首都的"獨特性"
: A. More of the cars in Donia's capital city were made before 1993 than after
: 1993.
同意你的想法，但在實戰中，如果我不知道"新車"的明確定義是不是指93'後的車子
這個選項我就會保留繼續讀其他選項，最後再來做抉擇
畢竟這是我自己的分數，而gmat好像也沒有一個申訴題目要分數的管道，
所以小心為上囉。
（定義不明，保留）

沒有指出首都的獨特性，（無關，刪去）。
: C. Pollutants other than nitrogen dioxide that are emitted by automobiles
: have also been significantly reduced in Donia since 1993.
跟其他污染物無關，（無關，刪去）
: D. Many Donians who own cars made before 1993 have had catalytic converters
: installed in their cars.
同B。

因為天龍國的人都喜歡開短程，短到淨化器都還沒熱機完成，所以廢氣也無法淨化。
明確指出了首都的獨特性，也解釋了為什麼廢氣仍然居高不下。
最後把這個選項跟A比較：相較於A選項的new car定義不明確，
E選項明確地解釋了矛盾，所以最後抉擇我會選(E)，
畢竟題目要的是MOST help to explain。
最後一提，這題的new cars應該指的是93年後採用新規定的車子沒有錯。
因為new cars第一次出現的地方是"required in all new cars in Donia since 1993"
後面的修飾成分指出了new cars是1993年之後的，
而前面的主詞跟動詞也告訴我們這些new cars被規定加裝淨化器
文章後面各處出現的new cars應該都會指代回上面這句的同詞
所以'new cars＝93年後出產加裝淨化器的汽車' 是沒有問題的。
但這樣A選項就是明顯的"睜眼說瞎話"，
跟題目的事實"the proportion of new cars in Donia's capital city has always
been comparatively high,..."衝突。
