如此一來這兩組主詞動詞就沒有對應的連接詞了！產生流水句的問題～

: 想請問c選項 我是看到that of 就把他理解為是young people的commitment to work

: that...and that 看起來比d選項更平行 所以就選c了
比較對象應該是young people和 their parents and grandparents
: D選項 為什麼不會有後面and that沒有平行對象的問題? 是因為是不強迫但補出更好嗎?

簡單介紹一下, 比較結構講究平衡對稱, 所以D選項比較結構前後句還原如下：
1. young people have a commitment to work and a career
2. their parents and grandparents had (a commitment to work and a career)
比較結構有個重要觀念, 就是後句出現前句相同資訊可以省略,
但是省略之後詞性不能動, 還原回來也才會平衡對稱,
但是C選項的of其實在語意上和前句的have是一樣的, 表達“有”的含義,
但是of是介系詞, 還原回來不可能變成動詞have
