3. 1783: Name of capital of South Carolina changed from Charles Town to
Charleston.

5. 1785-02-22: Augusta and Savannah had been co-capitals of Georgia since
1778. On this date, Augusta became the sole capital.
6. 1790: Capital of New Jersey moved to Trenton. Capital of South Carolina
