民國卅四年臺灣光復後改行區里制，縮編為十九區，區境的三區歸併為三塊厝與覆鼎金（
合併灣子內區）二區；同年年底再縮編為十二區，將覆鼎金區取消，併入左營區。
卅五年再縮編為十區制
